little bittle skittle

Have you seen the Skittles Riddles? They are Skittles flavors, BUT the color doesn't match the flavor inside!

So, if you get a purple Skittle, you don't know if it's cherry or banana or table or rubber or chocolate or what!

But I would like to ask a question...Does it matter?

I have, at times, taken every color of Skittle and put them with their own colors for various reasons. Twice for eating.

I have found that a handful of Skittles of ANY color tastes good. Sugary fruit! That's it!

So do I care what color the Skittle is on the outside? NO! They all taste like sugar! Because that's all they are! And that is all I want them to be!

It's not like yellow Skittles are yellow because they use lemons to make them. I know that and I'm okay with it.

So who are they really fooling with these?

Your children. Someday, if you buy these, your child will have NO idea what color goes with what fruit. They'll see a Lime and call it a Strawberry. You can tell them otherwise, but they'll just say, "Strawberries taste green, lady!" They will say that to you whether you are the mother or the father.

And whose fault is that? Skittles.

Do you know what they should do? They should combine Skittles and M&M's. YES! Why have a peanut or a pretzel in your M&M's when you could have a Skittle in there?!

How awesome would that be?! WHY DON'T THEY HAVE THIS!

It's a conspiracy! It's a fruit-color-chocolate-coated conspiracy! I'm going to go buy a bag of Skittles and a bag of M&M's right now. JUST to prove how good it is. Not the little bags, either. I'm going LARGE BAG!

I'm off to get a tummy ache.

Enjoy Everything.

sharkbanana is brilliant

I love this item. Sharkbanana is a plush toy that has a shark coming out of a half-peeled banana. AND HE'S WHOLE-PEELED CUTE!

You can find it on Amazon. It's filled with fake reviews from people who also love sharkbanana. But they are great.

I mean, who wouldn't want to start their day peeling a banana and FINDING A SHARK INSIDE!

How awesome would that be?!

It's everything you could possibly want in a plush toy. If I still slept with stuffed animals (I do), then I would totally want one of these to snuggle with at night.

It's a beautiful marriage of two worlds. High atop the trees and deep below the ocean. It's really the surf & turf of plushies.

I am often called the surf & turf of HVAC, but this isn't about me. This is about sharkbanana. And I don't hold a candle to plushies.

I really don't. They might catch on fire. Unless they are flame retardant. Which I hear can be done with mountain dew.

So, if you're looking for something for that banana-eating, shark-loving person in your life (like me), then make sure you find a sharkbanana.

I'm off to surf and possibly turf.

Enjoy Everything.

banana concerto No. 82 in B minor

A fruit company in Japan plays music to their fruit.  They get bananas.  Put them in a "banana ripening chamber."  Then pump Mozart through the loud speakers.

The bananas prefer Mozart's String Quartet No. 17 and his Piano Concerto No. 5 in D major.

The fruit company has found that it makes for a sweeter banana.  Not a banana that will walk you across the street, but rather a banana with a sweeter taste.

Does this work for all fruits?  I don't know.  BUT!  The folks in Japan say that it does make for a better sake!

I think I will try playing some Mozart in my freezer.  I have a lot of frozen veggies.  And they taste like vegetables.  But if they tasted like SWEET vegetables, they would be so much better!

I don't think I can get my stereo in my freezer, but I DO know that my laptop fits just fine.  I'll just have to download some Mozart to my laptop and put it in there...again.

Unfortunately, I can't check twitter while my veggies are getting sweeter.

That's okay.  I'll just post "veggies getting sweeter so I can't be a tweeter."

I'm sure all of my one follower will understand.

I'm off to hire a quartet for my fruit bowl.

Enjoy Everything.

laundry quirk

I noticed something yesterday. When I do laundry, I use two machines. I always put the whites in the left machine and the colors in the right machine. I didn't realize I did that until I put a towel in the right machine and IMMEDIATELY took it out and started over by putting it in the left machine.

Wow. Sometimes you're obsessive about something and you don't even know it! Crazy, right? I think I've been doing it that way for years. I don't know how that started, but I can't do it any other way!

It's the opposite sides for the dryer, too. Colors in left and whites in right.

Unless that lady is there who steals all the machines except one. Then I don't know what to do.

Are you like that with anything?

Oh, this morning, I was looking to grab my glasses out of my bag and I accidentally picked up my banana. I looked at it for a second and thought, "that's not a pair of glasses."

I realized it was a banana and put it back. I am now wearing my glasses. I did think the phrase "banana glasses" was funny...sort of.

I'm off to put on some banana glasses.

Enjoy Everything.
